Credit union giving $10,000 in college scholarships

Ten students who live or attend school in El Dorado, Amador, Placer, Sacramento, Yolo, Yuba, Sutter, Butte, Contra Costa, Nevada, San Joaquin, or Solano counties will receive a $1,000 scholarship this spring from SAFE Credit Union.

Grade point average, financial need, community involvement, letters of recommendation and a personal statement will be judged.
