On May 4, we are visiting Pittsburgh, PA for the weekend to include a Pirates game and the marathon, then to upstate New York for a week’s visit with our daughter and her partner. We like to stay in Tahoe during the summer.

Beautiful Lake Tahoe. Promised myself I’d hike at least 5 trails I haven’t done before (but have to spend at least a month walking up Old Meyers Grade to start getting in shape !). Great things to do in the National Forest, parks, and so much more. Going to treat myself to more events at Valhalla and the Tallac Historic Site. And, of course, Celebrity Golf.

Several years ago when my spouse and I lived in the Bay Area we always came to Tahoe for vacations. Now that we live here we don’t see any reason to go anywhere else. It’s really fun living where you want to be!

Stay-cation year due to high price of fuel. Lots of SF Giants games, river rafting, sitting at the beach watching our beautiful Lake Tahoe water. Love the summers up here! Tahoe. Your vacation is my life. Amen!

My wife and I have greatly enjoyed travelling all over the world. Giants Spring Training, Giants games, AAA baseball in Sacramento or Reno, too. However, we always take one week to vacation at home, in Lake Tahoe. I have been vacationing in Lake Tahoe since the 50’s. We especially made a point of a vacation in Lake Tahoe when we were raising children. How blessed we are!
