I don’t drink beer, but I’m very sad to hear Mt. Tallac Brewing Co closed. Too bad the Lake Tahoe bar & restaurant business could not sustain it. Great logo!

It is very sad to hear that Mt Tallac Brewing has closed but I saw it coming. For years we purchased kegs from Jeff but we had a horrible experience a year ago when a group of us purchased a keg for my husband and my birthday party. The keg tasted horrible and we barely drank any of it because it left anyone who drank it feeling bloated and full of gas. We even ran to the store and bought beer. When we took it back 3/4s full there was no sympathy from Jeff he just pumped the keg and poured some out on the ground, splashing it all of my shoes, and said there was nothing wrong with it. Customer service is key and when you rip people off your business is bound to fail.

So you noticed like the rest, ever think this might be a”contagious disease’ effecting the major business here in Tahoe South?

Vegas pretty rude, they treat you like a number, but here it not that good for such a samll hyped town either.
