My Mom was a stay-at-home Mom until just before I got married when she went back to college to become a nurse. She (along with Dad) raised 5 kids and took several others under her wing. She was involved with PTA, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Job’s Daughters. Her children were, and are, her life.
I am lucky to still have my Mom. We are having a huge family get-together this summer where she will be surrounded by 5 kids, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, along with several friends who have ‘adopted’ her as their own.
My Mom is the Light of My Life.

My mom is the strongest person I know. She had a stroke a month ago and is working hard to get better so she can move into a new apartment. The work is hard (5 hours of therapy per day) but she is determined and motivated and optimistic. My mom never lets anything keep her down for long. Her strength has always been an inspiration to me! I love you mom!

My mom is a smart, energetic and independent person. She has a Ph D in Mathematics and has lived in 5 different countries. She is so amazing and youthful, career driven and independent, an inspiration for feminists!
