Lake Tahoe has one less Olympic hopeful.

Joanie Anderson, who skis for Sierra-at-Tahoe, will not be competing in the next three World Cup races, which are qualifiers for the Vancouver Winter Games.

“I’ll be racing in X Games at the end of January, and that’s about it for boardercross,” Anderson said in an email to Lake Tahoe News.
