Storm may dampen start of Memorial Day weekend

Enjoy the sunshine in Lake Tahoe because it’s about to go away.

It wouldn’t be a normal Memorial Day weekend if nasty weather weren’t in the forecast. The brunt of the bad weather is expected to land Friday. The National Weather Service in Reno is calling for 70 percent chance for rain-snow showers.

Those odds drop to 30 percent on Saturday.

Sun will dominate Sunday and Monday.
