Tahoe Fund hires CEO

Amy Berry has been hired to be CEO of the Tahoe Fund.

The mission of Tahoe Fund is to restore and enhance the natural environment of the Lake Tahoe Basin by building broad support for projects and programs that increase the enjoyment of the region for current and future generations.

The focus is on conservation, recreation and education-stewardship.

Berry joins the Tahoe Fund from ACCIONA Energy, where she was the North America director of marketing and communications and regional management team member for one of the world’s largest renewable energy companies.

Berry is a nine-year resident of the Reno area. Before joining ACCIONA in 2010, she worked for Windspire Energy and the Bauserman Group in Reno, Tahoe Quarterly magazine, and was a partner at Ogilvy & Mather.
