U.S. Forest Service fuels management crews are burning today near the corner of Al Tahoe Boulevard and Pioneer Trail in South Lake Tahoe.

Residents and visitors can expect to see smoke from this prescribed fire project area on June 6.

Forest Service staff will post road signs around areas affected by prescribed fire, and update the local fire information line at (530) 543-2600, No. 6.
