The neighborhood association behind a proposal to remove more than 20 trees near Donner Lake pulled the plan before it faced a vote Tuesday.

No date for a Truckee Planning Commission review of the plan has been rescheduled, according to Truckee officials. Some residents of the neighborhood and some environmental groups had issues with the proposal.

The plan from the Tahoe Donner subdivision called for removing 23 Jeffrey pine trees near the lake shore to make way for marina improvement and a walking path compliant with the American with Disabilities Act.
