Youth and seniors to be highlighted at Community Needs Forum

The Women’s Fund El Dorado is hosting its annual Community Needs Forum on Jan. 24 from 6–8pm at the Cold Springs Country Club, 6500 Clubhouse Drive in Placerville.

The topics to be covered include youth development, health and mental health issues and senior support services.

This year’s presenters will be:

Jeremy Meyers, the deputy superintendent of Educational Services and Instructional Technology out of the El Dorado County Office of Education;

Patricia Charles-Heathers, the Health and Human Services Agency program manager II from El Dorado County Mental Health;

Karen Shelnutt, the nurse case manager for Family Connections and Faith Community Nurse for Federated Church.

The event is open to all members of the community. A light dinner will be served.
