Nothing like the quake ex-Officer Poland will feel in his shorts down at the SAC jail. And you want more police officers in our schools?

    Bob:

Your inference that all Police officers are the equivalent of a Johnny Poland is an unfair generalization. Not all cops are lacking a moral compass.

Sorry 4-mer. Let me expound. The police should not be involved in ANY public school activity regardless of their pursuits. Parents should have that responsibility.

    Bob:

Thanks for the clarification. Parents should have many responsibilities when it comes to the children they produce, and they should take their responsibilities very seriously. Too bad, and really tiresome, that so many parents completely drop the ball on that these days. I may sound like a terrible curmudgeon but just because some people can procreate doesn’t mean they should. Some kids never stand a chance due to the irresponsible parentage to which they are born.

Bob, I assume cops have gone through a background check. Parents have not. Thanks but I would rather have cops patrolling schools around my kids. Parents should be signed in and supervised while they are on school grounds.
