Hight lands new trick to take home silver at X Games

Elena Hight of South Lake Tahoe landed the first-ever double backside alley-oop rodeo in a halfpipe competition Saturday night.

She scored a 90 in the women’s snowboard superpipe final at the X Games in Aspen.

She took silver behind Kelly Clark. Clark had 90.33 points.

Arielle Gold took bronze.

Hannah Teter of South Lake Tahoe placed fifth with 81 points.
