STHS student competes against professionals and wins

South Tahoe High School 10th-grader Austin Allen’s photograph “Hope Valley” was purchased by Marshall Medical Center in Placerville.

The hospital and El Dorado Arts Council had a contest for all California artists to enter artwork to be purchased for permanent display in the hospital. Professional artists submitted artwork

STHS is the only school to have a student submit a photo.
