hike-1Here are two possibilities for hikes on June 1 – National Trails Day.

• South Lake Tahoe’s Planning Commission on May 23 at 3pm will discuss the Chateau project. Here is the agenda.

• Sugar Bowl plans to build the Crow’s Peak chairlift at the western end of the resort this summer.

• El Dorado County Board of Supervisors honored Mark Divittorio for helping to rescue a family last month when their car plunged into the South Fork of the American River.

• Lake Tahoe Basin Fire Academy’s graduation is June 29 at noon at Lake Tahoe Community College.
