Toby

Toby

Toby is a great all-around dog, and we have no idea why he hasn’t found his new home after being at the shelter for three months.

He is most likely a Harrier, which is a relative of the foxhound and beagle.

Toby is a cheerful and sweet-tempered boy, about 6 years old and 60 pounds, and he is quite easy-going and likes children. He likes to play with female dogs and be with people. As a hound, he likes to go exploring, sniffing, and trailing, so he should be kept on a leash or in a safe enclosed area.

Toby’s owner died and he had nowhere else to go.

Toby is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He is at the El Dorado County Animal Services shelter in Meyers, along with many other dogs and cats who are waiting for their new homes.

Go online to see photos and description of all pets at the shelter.

Call (530) 573.7925 for directions, hours, and other information on adopting a pet.
