Tahoe casinos fare well, statewide numbers drop in April
Lake Tahoe and Reno gaming revenue was up significantly in April compared to 2012, but overall Nevada’s numbers dropped slightly.
The Gaming Control Board released the figures today.
The Stateline casinos’ revenue increased 14.48 percent, while Washoe County’s were up 10 percent. Just in Reno the percentage increase was better at 15.36 percent. The state was down 0.16 percent.
Statewide, the gaming revenue was $854.3 million compared to 2012 when $855.7 million was collected.
