Lodi woman dies in Tahoe traffic accident
The woman who died in the two-car accident in Zephyr Cove on Sunday has been identified as Reyna Vizcaara, 24, of Lodi.
Her 29-year-old husband, Eduardo A. Vizcarra-Sicairos, was traveling east on Highway 50 about 2:55pm June 9 when he lost control and skidded into the oncoming traffic. A Hyundai Elantra driven by Shanna D. White, 26, of Carson City, broadsided the Lodi couple’s Toyota Corolla.
White had two passengers in her vehicle; 21-year-old Kellie Kerklay and 21-year-old Katelyn Kraiprai, both from Carson City.
White and Keklay were treated and released from Renown Medical Center in Reno. Vizcarra-Sicairos and Kraiprai remained hospitalized Monday afternoon.
Nevada Highway Patrol investigators say the rain-hail slick road surface may have contributed to the cause of the accident.

How sad. I was there about an hour before that crash and had remarked on how dangerous that area is with cars parked on the side of the road for the beach, pedestrians running across Hwy 50 with coolers and such and cars still going 45 mph or more. There should be a lighted crosswalk at 50 and the fire station, at least in the summer months in that area. I’m glad a pedestrian wasn’t injured as well.
We will miss you cousin forever! She was the kind of people to light up a room when she walked in the kind of girl to always have a smile on her face no more what was going on you do people like that have to go first!?..I guess all I can really say is the heaven just open the doors to other angel! We love you and miss you will never let you go love you for always!
I would also like to take this time and say I’m sorry of everyone else involde and I’m sorry for you hurt and pain that incuding my cousin’s husband!
