The Kyburz Fire burning on Highway 50 between Tahoe and Placerville is 95 percent contained, with full containment expected Friday.

Motorists are advised to watch for debris on the roadway. Granite Springs Road and Webber Mill Road remain closed for public safety.

All campgrounds are open.

The fire, which is in the same location where the Fred’s and Cleveland fires burned, has consumed 615 acres.

Firefighters on July 10 continued securing line around the fire perimeter.

The blazed started July 8 when a vehicle tire blew and sparked the fire.

Two outbuildings were lost.
