The North Tahoe Business Association’s weekly Music on the Beach free concert series is under way at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area every Friday from 6-8:30pm through Aug. 30.

On July 19, Tracorum will take the stage.

The Bay Area band has released three studio albums to date – the 2006 “Rock n Soul,” 2011’s “The Lesson,” and 2013’s “Tricked,” released in January and already in rotation on over 150 college and AAA radio stations.

Local band Mojo Green will showcase their heavy horn funk and soul play on July 26.

New this year at Music on the Beach, food is available from Souper Wagon and Cable Car Ice Cream. The North Tahoe Business Association, producers of the music series, also have Sierra Nevada beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Attendees are invited to bring their own low-back beach chairs and blankets.
