My favorite factoid about this subject was the editorial published in this space by Sheldon Adelson talking about the danger to society that on-line gaming brings. Of course, he didn’t mention the on-going process of his own company to pursue on-line gaming. And he didn’t mention the damage that the gaming industry brings to society (while providing him incredible personal wealth that he uses to buy politicians). The hypocrisy and irony are just delicious.
