Men were on the roof of Lake Tahoe Pizza Company in South Lake Tahoe this morning assessing the damage from an overnight fire.

The doors to the restaurant were covered with caution tape on Aug. 20 and no one could be reached for comment.

Lake Tahoe fire officials said the blaze started at 11:09pm Monday. The fire was contained to the attic area. The extent of the damage is unknown.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
