Journalists: Obama all about secretive government

WASHINGTON — Despite a promise of transparency, President Obama has run a secretive government that’s chilling the flow of information to reporters while it tries to channel its version of news through its own government media, according to a new report from a journalists’ group.
The report says the Obama administration has curbed the disclosure of government information, limited the use of the Freedom of Information Act, launched a program of internal surveillance to stop people from talking to reporters and conducted an unprecedented number of investigations of journalists.
The search for leaks, the report’s author said, is the most aggressive since President Richard Nixon.
“In the Obama administration’s Washington, government officials are increasingly afraid to talk to the press,” says the report by Leonard Downie Jr. for the Committee to Protect Journalists.
“There’s no question that sources are looking over their shoulders,” Michael Oreskes, a senior managing editor of the Associated Press, says in the report.
Today in Washington Americans stood up to the tyrant that chose to shut down their National Monuments.
Today the tyrant backed down.
And the funny thing CJ, is that tyrant, Ted Cruz, showed up with Sarah “The Quitter” Palin at this demonstration.

Also CJ I would like to share this tidbit of info about your righteous GOP members in the US House of Representatives.
On October 1st, HR 368 changed the standing rules of the House to take away from any member of the House the privilege of calling up the Senate bill to immediately reopen the government, thanks to Boehner and chums. What this means is that ONLY John Boehner or his designee may bring up a clean vote (whereas previously any member of the House would have been able to). And Mr. Boehner still has yet to allow a vote on a clean bill, at the request of just about EVERYONE including the President, most probably because he knows it would pass by virtue of sane moderate republicans jumping ship. He has also tied the hands of some of his OWN party members.
And yet you continue to blame everyone else. Go figure.

Gov. Palin is far from a quiter!! tiny, distorted picture!!
Gov. Palin is a protector of her family, and her state, the Great State of Alaska! Due to the Seiu, and Dummycrat funded schiles and schiesters that perpetrated phoney lawsuites against her administration and the State of Alaska that had to be defended by the State of Alaska to the tune of millions of dollars ~ all but one tiny bookkeepping issue of a couple hundred dollars ~ were INVENTED BY THESE OPERATIVES ~ BY THE DUMMYCRATS!!
Gov. Palin is a lady of principle, dynamic understanding of political gymnastics, highly intelligent, and incredibly articulate and quick witted. I have seen her in action up close and personal.
This administration, ie. captain teleprompter, can’t hold a candle to Gov. Palin when it comes to honest, intelligent leadership.
Quit getting your news and “facts” from the Comedy channel like most low info folks and where Barry and spouse spend their time.
