• The Optimist Club will be allowed to continue using the Lakeview Commons parking to sell Christmas trees.

• Terri Arnold of South Lake Tahoe will be the Carson Valley Visitors Authority’s spokeswoman for its “Rugged. Relaxed. Reachable.” ad campaign that will have her on horseback from Topaz Lake and the Pine Nut Mountains to the Tahoe Rim Trail.
