Ladies night at Lake of the Sky Outfitters

Lake of the Sky Outfitters is hosting a ladies night on Jan. 17 from 6-9pm.

For the first hour it’s about shopping. All apparel and footwear in stock is 40 percent off. Then at 7pm the movie “Climb Against the Odds, Mt. McKinley”, the story of the 1998 all women’s expedition for Breast Cancer, will be shown.

The movie is free.

Lake of the Sky Outfitters is at 1023 Emerald Bay Road, South Lake Tahoe.

    Nice – “Climb Against the Odds” is powerful. We should consider organizing a mountain-climbing/hiking eventt & fundraiser for breast cancer in SLT. It could be a 3-stage event: hike to the top of Tallac (or a spot at Heavenly) for jocks; a walk/hike to a less-strenuous destination for others; a picnic at the end of the destination walk/hike. Money raised could maybe go to the Cancer League and/or for Breast Cancer Clinical Trials’ participants from SLT.

    I would be willing to work on this type of event if anyone is interested.
