• Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce’s community breakfast is Jan. 28 at 8am at Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel. It is free and open to the public.

• Bona Fide Books of Meyers is entering the world of fiction this summer with the release of “Bigfoot and the Baby” by Ann Gelder. Preorder now and the shipping is waived. The link also has details about the book.

• South Lake Tahoe Friends of the Library is having a book sale March 15 starting at 10am. FOL members get in at 9am. The library is at 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.

• South Lake Tahoe’s Planning Commission is hosting a public workshop Jan. 23 at 3pm at Lake Tahoe Airport to discuss the city’s role in addressing housing issues and provide input on the draft housing element.

    It’s a really good feeling for all the working folk here in town knowing that the So. Shore Chamber of Commerce really cares and is willing to give back to the Community by providing FREE breakfast for everyone in town on Jan.28 at 8a.m. at Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel. Kudos! Spread the word!
