Lack of snow means the ability to do trail work.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday 36 people showed up to a joint TAMBA and Poedunks trail day at Peavine Mountain in Reno.

One of the three projects that got done included manually moving more than 4 tons of rock. This was for erosion control.

“Gravity also helped quite a bit since a good quarry location was found right above the trail,” TAMBA officials said.
