EID asking customers to cut use by 30%
The El Dorado Irrigation District board this week declared a State 2 drought warning.
This means customers are being asked to reduce water consumption by 30 percent.
At the March meeting the board will consider a drought surcharge. Also at that meeting the board is expected to discuss whether the voluntary restrictions should be mandatory.
