Tonight between 8:30 and 9:30, Harrah’s and Harveys Lake Tahoe will participate in Earth Hour to bring awareness to climate change.

This is the sixth consecutive year that the two Stateline casinos will encourage guests and employees to turn off all non-essential interior lighting, while the resorts’ lighted exteriors, electronic marquees and non-essential lighting are shut off for the hour.

Sponsored by the World Wildlife Fund, Earth Hour has grown to involve hundreds of millions of people across 7,000 cities and 154 countries in a collective statement of concern about climate change.

Climate change?!? Are these people crazy trying to promote an unproven which is most likely a lie? I hope people who disagree with “climate change” (previously known as “global warming”) yet patronize these casinos, cease to spend their money in Harrahs-Harveys to teach them to stay out of the left-wing’s deceitful/deceptive/shameless political agendas.

I’ve heard these so called experts. They think they can change the way excepted facts are interpreted just by putting out a few papers and stirring people up.
Let’s face it the earth is flat and nothing these folks say will ever change my mind!

Yeah TBONE! And just think 400 years ago we burned people at the stake for figuring out that the Earth was NOT the center of the Universe. Tell us all with your “knowledge” of Science how is it that Glaciers worldwide are shrinking and dying? How is it that Greenland is loosing 50-60 Cubic Miles of fresh water ice each year? How is it that the Oceans have risen 8 inches in the past Century? Why are the Oceans become more acidic?

The Horizon must have been participating in Earth Hour for months now! ;p

Off topic: Fingers crossed that a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino goes in there and they have enough gumption to build a proper OUTDOOR EVENT CENTER…
