Woman fatally hit by train in Truckee
A Union Pacific cargo strain struck and killed a woman in Truckee on Wednesday.
The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of family.
Truckee police officers said the April 9 accident occurred underneath and east of the Highway 267 overpass.
Witnesses are asked to call the Truckee Police Department at 530.550.2320.
