Liberty offers payment options
Liberty Utilities has partnered with local businesses in the communities it serves to make paying utility bill more convenient.
Starting April 24, Liberty Utilities’ customers can pay their utility bill at one of the businesses listed below:
Tahoe Keys Liquor, 2297 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe
Kmart, 1056 Emerald Bay Road, South Lake Tahoe
Kings Beach Chevron, 8369 North Lake Blvd., Kings Beach,
Portola Depot, 108 Commercial St., Portola
Loyalton Pharmacy, 701 Main St., Loyalton.
Customers wishing to make their utility payment at one of the above locations must bring their bill stub with them, and pay by cash, check or money order. There is no additional convenience fee.
For payment options, go online and click on the “Pay Your Bill” link at the top.
When are they going to drag themselves into the modern age and offer paperless billing?
More paper options? Bill my Amex/V/MC every month automatically. Save paper costs, labor costs, postage costs, cash flow costs, and the novel thought of improved customer satisfaction would all offset the credit card fees. Is it really that difficult to act like a real business? Geez! Either get with the 21st century or get out of town!
When Liberty Urilitties finally gets up to speed, and offers FREE payment on a decent website (like SWGas) (HELLO Liberty), then they may get credibility, customer service, and payment options. Liberty Utilities – you are at least TEN years behind with your updates! When will another electric service option be introduced?
I am sure Liberty Utilities does not even read this site — and probably don’t have internet service. snzzzzzzz Get a grip!
Good point, Irish Wahini. SW Gas, AT&T, Direct TV, Geico, and even CA DMV offer FREE payments online. In my opinion, by charging for credit and debit card payments, Liberty Utilities is gouging their customers in order to add to their already enormous profit margin. Way to go Liberty!
Actually ann, I went to pay sw gas last week. They had an automated kiosk that only accepted certain forms of payment, all with a surcharge.
Not everyone wants to use the internet to pay their bills. I dont put any of my personal banking stuff out there for obvious reasons, hackers are waiting to get your info. Thanks but I prefer to use the postal service and I have refused to pay extra for a service, being billed, by mail. So far its working.
Actually, BC, I said SW Gas offers free online payments, not free payments in person.
