Author Mark McLaughlin will present a multimedia presentation on his newest book “The Donner Party: Weathering the Storm” on June 18 at 6pm at the South Lake Tahoe Library.

This well-illustrated book chronicles weather conditions and storm events in Northern California and the mountains during the winter of 1847.

All books will be available for purchase and autographing.

The library is at 1o00 Rufus Allen Blvd. The event is free and put on by Friends of the Library.
