El Dorado County Superintendent of Schools Jeremy Meyers and EDCOE legal counsel David Girard will conduct a workshop for perspective school board members on July 14 from 5:30-7pm.

Subject matter will include time commitment, the Brown Act, policy development, budget responsibilities, and the role school boards play in public education.

The workshop is free. It will be at 6767 Green Valley Road, Room B-2, Placerville.
