Community bike ride in Truckee

Truckee will celebrate the opening of the Legacy Trail to Glenshire with a community bike ride on Aug. 8 at 4pm.

People may park their vehicles at the Regional Park at 3pm and then take a shuttle to the event.

Youths 12 and younger will receive a prize if their bike is decorated.

At 2pm there will be free bike safety checks.

    We’re from SLC and are planning a weekend trip to South Lake Tahoe from Aug 8-10 and saw this community bike ride event. Requesting more info: Registration fees? Length of ride? Any other info for this event. S
