Shilo

Shilo

Shilo is a very sweet girl who is a bit subdued at the shelter. She is very quiet and mellow, but we think she will perk up once she gets into a good new home.

She is about 6 years old, house trained, and she walks very nicely on the leash. She is OK with other well-mannered dogs, and didn’t chase the cats that she met at the shelter. She is content to sit at your side or at your feet.

Shilo is possibly a border collie mix, a little skinny at about 45 pounds, who would be happy in just about any home.

Shilo is spayed, microchipped, tested for heart worm, and vaccinated. She is at the El Dorado County Animal Services shelter in Meyers, along with many other dogs and cats who are waiting for their new homes. Go to the Tahoe animal shelter’s Facebook page to see photos and descriptions of all pets at the shelter.

Call 530.573.7925 for directions, hours, and other information on adopting a pet.

For spay-neuter assistance for South Tahoe residents, go online.
