Barry

Barry

Barry is a sweet Great Dane mix puppy who has fur like a cow — beautiful big black and white spots.

Barry has had a rough time of it so far in life, as he was abandoned when his owner moved. He must have had bad experiences with men, too, as he is quite suspicious of them. He is shy at first, but warms up quickly to women, and within minutes wants to climb into their laps and give kisses. Barry needs to go to a kind person who has the time and patience to work with him and build up his confidence.

Barry is neutered, microchipped, tested for heart worm, and vaccinated. He is at the El Dorado County Animal Services shelter in Meyers, along with many other dogs and cats who are waiting for their new homes. Go to the Tahoe animal shelter’s Facebook page to see photos and descriptions of all pets at the shelter.

Call 530.573.7925 for directions, hours, and other information on adopting a pet.

For spay-neuter assistance for South Tahoe residents, go online.
