Nonstop flights to lure UK skiers to Tahoe

With the United Kingdom being a huge market for Lake Tahoe ski resorts, a goal has long been to have a direct flight into the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

It was announced Tuesday that a deal has been struck with Thomas Cook Airlines to provide nonstop service between London and Reno starting Dec. 19, 2015. The service will run between December and April.

Ski Lake Tahoe helped bring this to fruition.

Tahoe Blu i will disagree, we get quite a bit of visitor from GB and a lot of people who visti south shore do fly into Reno, we will see an uptick because of this esp if the LTVA really work well with Thomas Cook tour groips, I know that the LTVA had quite a number of tour operators from the EU visit this summer

Brits love pubs and we seem to have a lot of breweries opening around here lately, so that is a definite plus.. I wonder if they like Asian massage too?
