Pending favorable conditions, U.S. Forest Service will conduct a hand pile burn operation in the Kings Beach area on Feb. 18-19.

The project area is less than 10 acres in size.

Please be aware that other fire management agencies, state and local, may also be conducting prescribed fire operations during this period.

Residents and travelers can expect to see smoke from prescribed fire project areas.
