1 person killed, 1 hurt in Strawberry snowmobile crash

STRAWBERRY — A Folsom man was killed and a second man was hurt in a snowmobile crash Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the snowmobile was going about 50 mph on Pack Saddle Pass Road when the driver took a curve too fast and hit a tree.
It is suspected that alcohol played a factor in the crash.
