Smoke in Truckee from controlled fires

People in the Truckee area are reporting concerns about smoke plumes.

Officials say it is from prescribed burns in the Eldorado National Forest.

    Here they go again ! Last nights CBS news reports smoke from forest fires in Central America is flowing north and causing higher instances of severe weather across the southern part of the country.
    So we have seperate rules here that say it’s ok ,the smoke will not harm us.
    Watch out east coast !!
